Terms and Conditions

Form and time of payment:

Classes are paid in full in advance.

Payment is made via bank transfer, Wise or Bizum. If your bank belongs to the European Union, a Spanish bank account will be provided to make the bank transfer. If your bank does NOT belong to the European Union, a Wise account will be provided. If your bank is Spanish, you also have the option of making a Bizum payment through your bank’s App and your mobile number. All payment methods are secure.

Once the transfer has been made and received, you will receive an email to confirm that your payment has been made successfully and you will be able to choose the day and time of your next class according to the available schedules.

Cristina Olmos Aranda is not responsible for any additional bank charges, interest charges, finance charges or other charges.

Expiration of classes

Paid classes will be valid for 6 months. Exceptions may be made, for which the case will be assessed individually.

Cancellation of classes

To cancel or change a class you must give notification by email 24 hours in advance. If you are not present for the booked class without cancelling or changing it 24 hours prior to the arranged start time, it will be considered a completed class.

Classes that have been paid for in advance are non-refundable. If you cannot continue, the classes are valid for 6 months and you can resume and complete them within that period. If you need more time, the situation may be assessed to extend the deadline.

Trial class

The trial class lasts 20 minutes and is completely free. If you are interested, you can request more information via the contact form or email.

The trial class does not commit you to booking more classes. If you need to cancel or change your trial class, please write to me at least 24 hours before the scheduled day and time.

Modification of conditions

These conditions may be modified at any time, but you will receive notification in advance so that you can accept or reject the new terms and conditions.

Technical problems

To avoid interruptions during class, you should check beforehand that the camera and microphone are working properly. In addition, a good Internet connection is essential. A minimum connection speed of 5 Mbps is recommended. The connection offered by an Ethernet cable is more stable than via Wi-Fi. It is also recommended to use a computer, laptop or tablet for class for general Spanish classes to be able to visualize the material well. If the class is only conversation, a mobile phone is also a valid device for the class.
In the event that technical problems occur that prevent the class from continuing normally, the possibility of changing the class to another day will be considered. If it is a repetitive problem, another solution will need to be sought.

Vacations and holidays

I reserve the right to a few days or weeks of vacation. I will inform you well in advance about the dates of the holidays. This time will not count towards the expiration of classes.
In addition, the following days are considered national holidays in Spain: the 1st and 6th of January, Good Friday (Easter), 1st May, 15th August, 23rd October, 1st November, and the 6th, 8th and 25th of December. And the following days in Catalonia are regional holidays: Easter Monday (Easter), 24th June, 1st September and 26th December. Therefore, there will be no classes on these days.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via the contact form or email.
